🔵 Level 2 — Intermediate
Equivalent to 5 GCSEs. Good starting point for school leavers with few qualifications.
E.g. Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Customer Service Practitioner
🟢 Level 3 — Advanced
Equivalent to 2 A-Levels. Most common entry level for school leavers aged 16–18.
E.g. Accounting Technician, IT Technician, Healthcare Support Worker
🟡 Levels 4–5 — Higher
Equivalent to a foundation degree. Usually requires A-Levels or Level 3 qualification.
E.g. Junior Chartered Surveyor, Senior Healthcare Support, Marketing Executive
🔴 Levels 6–7 — Degree
Full honours or master's degree equivalent. Earn while you get a degree — no student debt.
E.g. Solicitor, Nurse, Software Engineer, Chartered Accountant
