Why Do Gatsby Benchmarks Matter?

The 8 Gatsby Benchmarks are the national framework for excellent careers provision in schools and colleges. They were developed by the Gatsby Foundation and adopted by the government to ensure every young person gets the guidance they need.

Schools are assessed against these benchmarks by Ofsted and through the Compass tool.
