The directory tells you who you can actually ring
One line sits over the list: how many organisations you have, how many are active, and how many have no named contact - because a record with nobody to ring is not much of a relationship. Filter by type, by status, or to the ones with a named contact, and the list becomes the call sheet.

The things schools ask
Yes - CSV or Excel import, or add organisations one at a time. Find employers also searches around the school on a map, so you can add the ones you don't have yet.
Because the employers you work with are mostly the ones who host placements. An organisation you find for work experience lands in this directory too, so there is one list rather than two.
Correspondence uses a header-only mail scope and is filtered to known employer contacts. Chapter can show you that a thread happened and with whom; it is deliberately not a mailbox reader.
Yes. Ask Chappy to draft an email to an employer and it writes one you can edit and send. Log it on their record afterwards so the history stays accurate.
