What is Chapter?
Chapter Schools is an AI-powered careers education platform for UK secondary schools. It connects your school's careers programme to real student data, tracks all 8 Gatsby Benchmarks automatically, and produces Ofsted-ready evidence reports in one click.
Every activity you log in Chapter — events, guidance sessions, lessons, work experience — is automatically mapped to the relevant Gatsby Benchmarks. No spreadsheets, no manual tracking, no scrambling before an inspection.
Built for the UK
Chapter is designed specifically for UK secondary schools and aligned with the Gatsby Charitable Foundation's 8 Benchmarks for good careers guidance, the DfE statutory requirement, and Ofsted inspection criteria.

Gatsby Benchmarks
The 8 Gatsby Benchmarks are the UK government's standard for good careers education in secondary schools. Every school in England is expected to meet them, and they form a central part of Ofsted inspections.
How Chapter tracks them
Every activity you log in Chapter — events, lessons, guidance sessions, work experience — is automatically mapped to the benchmarks it contributes to. Chapter calculates your score for each benchmark in real time.
Modules
Chapter is modular — schools can enable the features they need and disable those they don't. Modules are configured in Settings → Modules by an Admin or Careers Lead.
